National conference, June 2018:
‘Time for Change: New Approaches to National Security’
Join us for our national conference on 15th June 2018 with Shaista Aziz, Patrick Corrigan, Prof Mary Kaldor, Aisha Phoenix, Asad Rehman, Prof Paul Rogers, Molly Scott Cato and more…
We’ll be exploring the impact of current approaches to national security on agendas for peace, justice and environmental sustainability. We’ll also be considering what a different approach could look like, and how to bring about change.

There is a small registration fee, which includes coffee and tea. Please bring your own lunch or use one of the cafes at Friends House or nearby.
Accessibility: the areas of the venue used for the conference are fully accessible.
Please note: Friends House is a place of worship for Quakers and is open to all people of faith who wish to pray. Given that the conference will fall either on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan, or on the festival of Eid, a room will be made available for prayer during the conference.
