Rethinking Security Coordinator
Rethinking Security is seeking a dynamic and creative individual with excellent communication and organisational skills for the role of Coordinator.
- Full-time (37.5 hours). Reduced hours will be considered.
- Home-based, with regular travel in the UK and to the London-based host organisation
- Salary: £38-42k plus pension contribution

The Rethinking Security Coordinator plays a pivotal role in managing a network of non-governmental organisations, academics and activists in the peacebuilding and disarmament fields. The Coordinator leads on the implementation of the network’s strategic plan, overseeing and contributing to research, communications and outreach activities, as well as leading on fundraising and financial management.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong grasp of current debates in the peacebuilding and disarmament fields. They will enjoy working closely with a diverse range of people to identify and achieve shared objectives for change and be confident representing the network to external audiences including policy-makers, the media and the general public. They will be a confident multi-tasker, who will ensure the smooth administrative functioning of the network.
